Boca de Agua is a Design Hotel in Bacalar, Mexico, rooted in sustainability, local culture, and regenerative hospitality. Developed from concept to opening, it blends architecture, nature, and curated experiences to create a refined and immersive retreat.

All of Boca de Agua’s furniture was custom-designed and crafted on-site, using reclaimed wood from the construction process. This approach minimized waste while creating pieces that are both functional and shaped by the context in which they were made.

Casa IWA sits within the Cerros de Escazú Natural Reserve in Santa Ana, Costa Rica. Shaped by the contours of a sloping site, edged by a small river and enveloped by mountain forest, it opens to the changing light, air, and views. A grounded concrete base supports a light timber structure made out of local teak, bringing together thoughtful design, climate-responsive design, and regenerative landscaping in a home that belongs wholly to its landscape.

Located on a lively street in Escazú, Katté mixed-use development combines three street-level retail spaces with twenty-two residences above. Built from locally crafted brick, its design anchors the building in the neighborhood’s material heritage while contributing a strong, contemporary presence to the urban fabric.

Perched amid the lush hills of Santiago near Santa Teresa, Casa Dosel unfolds a low horizontal volumes that dissolve into the landscape. Nestled around a terracotta-tiled pool, its architecture and interiors celebrate local textures and forms, creating a home that feels calm, grounded, and utterly in harmony with its tropical hillside setting.
Located near Zapotal Beach in Guanacaste, the twelve townhouses are expressed as a series of interlocking volumes, their robust forms and textured surfaces lend to a distinct architectural identity to the Costa Rican coastal context.
