FURNITURE for Boca de Agua
Design: Rodrigo Juarez & Diego Alor

All of Boca de Agua’s furniture was custom-designed and crafted on-site, using reclaimed wood from the construction process. This approach minimized waste while creating pieces that are both functional and shaped by the context in which they were made.

Casa IWA sits within the Cerros de Escazú Natural Reserve in Santa Ana, Costa Rica. Shaped by the contours of a sloping site, edged by a small river and enveloped by mountain forest, it opens to the changing light, air, and views. A grounded concrete base supports a light timber structure made out of local teak, bringing together thoughtful design, climate-responsive design, and regenerative landscaping in a home that belongs wholly to its landscape.

AS76A transforms a four-story, 30 sqm-per-floor townhouse in La Condesa neighborhood in Mexico City through a minimalist approach that emphasizes efficiency and continuity. Integrated elements like panel cabinetry and multifunctional built-ins maximize usability, ensuring that every square meter supports both functionality and aesthetic clarity.

2025

Located in the wooded hills of Alto de las Palomas in Santa Ana, Costa Rica, this mixed-use development brings together residential and commercial spaces in a low-scale ensemble that responds to the site’s topography. Concrete bases support lighter timber structures, with wooden screens filtering light and framing views toward the forest. Outdoor circulation and native landscaping create a walkable environment shaped by climate and context.
